Iron Core Athletics offers two lines of pull-up assistance bands: Standard and Premium. Both are made from 100% natural latex, both use the same 41” loop design, and both come with our 1-year warranty. The difference is in the engineering and the details.
The Standard Line
Our Standard bands are the foundation of our product line — and for good reason. They’ve been trusted by athletes, trainers, and gyms since 2009. They deliver reliable, consistent performance at an honest price.

The Premium Never Break Line
Our Premium line takes everything about the Standard bands and adds four key upgrades that matter most under heavy, repeated use.
30,000+ Pull Cycle Tested
Every Premium band is tested through over 30,000 pull cycles before it earns the Never Break designation. To put that in perspective, if you did 50 pull-ups a day, every single day, 30,000 cycles would take you over 18 months of daily use. We test to this level so you never have to worry about mid-workout failure.
Anti-Slip Textured Surface
The surface of every Premium band features a micro-textured finish that provides grip even when your hands — or the bar — are wet with sweat. Standard bands are smooth latex, which can get slippery during intense training sessions. The textured surface on Premium bands eliminates that issue.
Comfort Edge Design
Standard flat-edge bands can sometimes cause pinching or mild blistering during high-rep sets, especially where the band contacts your foot or knee. Premium bands feature rounded, comfort-edge construction that distributes pressure more evenly. It’s a subtle difference you’ll notice in the first set.
Non-Whitening Material
Over time, all natural latex will develop white stress marks from repeated stretching — it’s called “blooming” and it’s purely cosmetic. Our Premium bands use a specially formulated latex compound that resists whitening, so your bands look as good after 6 months of use as they did on day one.

The Premium line is currently available in:
- Singles: Red #2 and Black #3
- Combo Sets: Orange + Red, and Orange + Red + Black
- Bulk 5-Packs: Orange, Red, Black, plus combo bulk packs
Premium does not yet cover Purple #4 or Green #5 resistance levels. If you need those heavier bands, the Standard line has you covered.
